Role Summary
The Spa and Baths Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our spa and bathhouse, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for both guests and teammates. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in spa management, excellent client service, and the ability to effectively manage a team. They are responsible for supervising and training teammates, creating a network of wellness practitioners, maintaining spa guidelines, managing finances, and driving revenue through effective promotions and upselling strategies. Specifics
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure operational standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety are met.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of products, supplies, and equipment.
- Develop and implement guidelines and procedures to ensure consistent service.
- Lead, train, and motivate teammates to ensure excellent experiences for guests.
- Conduct growth & development conversations, provide feedback, and address any issues related to teammates’ performance.
- Schedule and manage teammates to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
- Create and maintain an exceptional guest experience by overseeing services, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring highest level satisfaction.
- Promote spa services, treatments, and packages to guests, enhancing revenue opportunities.
- Implement and monitor guest feedback to continuously improve the spa experience.
- Oversee the financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets.
- Monitor expenses and work to control costs while maximizing profitability.
- Develop and implement strategies for retail and upselling to drive spa revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation, licensing, and staff certifications.
- Maintain client information and reports related to services, teammates, and inventory as required.
- Implement health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of both teammates and guests.
- Follow all Pocketbook procedures and guidelines.
- Be a motivated self-starter, steeped in working efficiently, always with kindness and respect.
- Manage a freelance practitioner model, including onboarding, scheduling commitments, communication, and ongoing relationship management.
- Actively recruit and curate a diverse network of independent practitioners, leveraging existing professional relationships and community connections.
- Collaborate with practitioners to build a well-rounded treatment menu that reflects Pocketbook’s values and guest needs.
