Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
• Manage route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients through friendly, professional communication
• Conduct merchandising activities at retail locations, including product placement and inventory checks
• Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment to prevent injuries
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales outcomes
• Organize daily routes for maximum efficiency, utilizing organizational skills to optimize travel time and reduce delays

Experience

• Demonstrated ability in customer service and client relationship building, with excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory counts accurately
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and sales techniques to support upselling efforts
• Experience in merchandising, retail store operations, or heavy lifting enhances effectiveness in this role
• Strong organizational skills to manage route planning, documentation, and time management efficiently
