Best Friends Pet Care is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned (ESOP) and operated company. We currently operate 80 locations nationwide, have been in business for over 30 years and are hiring people who are passionate about delivering outstanding experiences to both pets and their parents.
What You’ll Do
As Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients—setting the tone for a warm, professional, and memorable experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients with a friendly, upbeat attitude in person and over the phone
- Managing check-ins, check-outs, tours, and guest visits
- Answering calls, emails, and voicemails promptly and professionally
- Booking reservations and updating client records accurately
- Explaining services, policies, and procedures clearly and empathetically
- Proactively resolving client concerns and escalating when needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment
- Collaborating with team members to ensure continuity of care
- Promoting additional services such as grooming, training, and enrichment
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of high-quality, customer service experience (preferred lead)
- Pet/animal handling experience
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Comfortable handling dogs on leashes and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A passion for animals and a professional, team-oriented attitude
- Must live within a 25-mile radius of facility

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
Hourly Range: $12.00 - $15.00
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
