ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: EIGHT HOURS PER DAY
DAYS: TWELVE MONTH POSITION
SALARY SCHEDULE: $13.71 per hour
START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
JOB SUMMARY: The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform routine custodial general maintenance,
cleaning, and grounds keeping tasks in school buildings and grounds to maintain a clean sanitary, and
safe enviornment. Additionally an employee in this class may be assigned to other minor maintenance
duties in district facilities. This position is supervised by the Custodial Foreman. The prinicpal duties of
this class are performed in public school environment and include use of electrically powered cleaning
equipment and cleaning substances that may involve related hazards and outdoor work in inclement
weather conditions. Work requires physical exertion and heavy lifting (e.g. classroom and office furniture
etc.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred. Some custodial experience preferred.

employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position.
