Salary Range: Professional_Salary_Schedule_Annual_2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Location: Poca High School
Job Description: The High School Counselor works collaboratively with other school and county staff to promote the intellectual, psychological and social development of students.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Service Certificate endorsed for school counselor at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).
Length of Employment: 220 Days
Responsibilities: The High School Counselor shall have duties as outlined in the job description.
