What are the responsibilities and job description for the Harvest Worker - Tub Driver position at PNW Veg Co., LLC dba Quincy Foods?
Location: Quincy, WA
Field Work
NATURE AND SCOPE: Responsible for the transferring of product from the combine to tub to the truck.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes but is not limited to.
- Coordinate the dumping sequences of combines to obtain optimal efficiency out of the field
- Read and write field tickets
- Communicate with field shop managers, supervisors, and the scale house
- Operate a tractor with attachments
- Assist the mechanics as he/she deem necessary
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Good communication skills; must be able to communicate through use of radios; must be able to communicate/interact verbally with the Mechanics and Supervisors.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Maintain a good attendance record.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- Ability to work seven (7) days a week for 12 hours per shift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit, bend, twist, squat, climb ladders & stairs, push/pull and walk continuously.
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. ·
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work outside in a loud, cool, and/or hot environment
- Workaround moving equipment
- Exposed to wet and/or humid, hot or cold conditions
