PNW Rental Rack, A local family owned business, we strive to empower experience and entrepreneurship in our community by providing access to a wide range of quality rental items, reducing unnecessary consumption and waste, and fostering a culture of reuse.
"We’re a local, founder-led business that’s growing fast. We don’t just rent equipment; we help our neighbors create memories. As our first hire, you aren't just a driver—you're the engine that makes our operations run."
The RoleThis isn't just a delivery job; it’s an event support role. You will be responsible for ensuring our party supplies are prepped, delivered, and perfectly set up so our customers can enjoy their events stress-free. For larger orders, you’ll work as part of a team, but we’re looking for someone who can eventually handle standard orders independently.
Key Responsibilities- Order Prep & Hygiene: Collect items (chafing dishes, electronics, party decor) from the garage. Ensure everything is polished, sanitized, and functioning perfectly.
- Safe Loading: Pack the truck and trailer strategically to ensure fragile electronics and polished items aren't damaged during transit.
- Delivery & Professional Setup: Drive to the venue and fully set up the equipment according to the customer's needs (e.g., setting up chafing stations, testing electronic displays, chairs & tables, tents).
- On-Site Packing: Return to the location after the event to efficiently pack up, load the truck, and ensure no items are left behind.
- Organization: Return items to the garage and organize them so they are ready for the next "ready-to-rent" cycle.
- Trailer Towing: Experience driving a truck with a trailer is a must. You should be comfortable reversing and navigating in residential and event spaces.
- Customer Service: Professional etiquette and a friendly "can-do" attitude. You will be the face of our business on-site.
- Communication: Fluent in English to coordinate setups with customers and the internal team.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a smudge on a dish or a loose wire on a speaker before the customer does.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry party equipment and stay on your feet for several hours during setups and pack-ups.
- Hands-on Coaching: You won't be thrown in the deep end. We will work alongside you to teach you our specific processes and help with larger, heavy-duty orders.
- Growth Potential: As our first employee, you’ll have a front-row seat to how the business grows, with opportunities for more responsibility.
- Dynamic Work Environment: Every event is different—no two days are the same!
