What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant position at Pneuma Counseling & Neurofeedback?
We are looking to add an exceptional individual to assist in a busy Counseling office to administer Neurofeedback. We are a Christian Practice specializing in trauma recovery including EMDR, Lifespan Integration, Mindfulness, Somatic Interventions and Neurofeedback therapy.
Candidate should have:
- Ability to be a NON-ANXIOUS presence with clients
- Excellence in integrity, morals and work ethic
- "People Person" is a must
- Highly organized type "A" personality
- Excellent attendance record
- Desire to help people
- Administrative skills
- Education in the field of mental health/ psychology preferred. Graduate students encouraged to apply.
- The ability to work Monday through Thursday from 10am to 7 pm
- Excellent demeanor and kindness while serving clients
- The ability to take the initiative to recognize and communicate vital information.
- Ability to place electrodes on clients' scalp for Neurofeedback.
- Transportation (personal vehicle)
The selected candidate will be responsible for administering neurofeedback (training provided), answering emails and phone calls to schedule neurofeedback, light paperwork, and some light office cleaning. Other responsibilities may arise. The job is entry level and some knowledge or experience with Neurofeedback and mental health is great, but we will train the right candidate..
