What Youll Do
Youll start by mastering our accounts payable and biweekly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and friendly service to staff. From there, youll cross-train in accounts receivable, project accounting, and financial reportingbuilding a broad foundation in all areas of the department. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, responsibility, and making an impact in a close-knit team.
What Were Looking For
- At least five years of progressive experience in accounts payable and payroll (including quarterly tax prep and workers comp audits). Project accounting background is a plus.
- An associates or bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- Hands-on experience with Deltek/Ajera or other project accounting software.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- High accuracy, analytical thinking, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- A proven track record of stepping up, meeting deadlines, and handling additional responsibility.
- Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive records.
- Valid Alaska drivers license and clean driving record.
