What Youll Do
- Design and develop civil engineering plans and construction documents for public and private infrastructure.
- Support construction administration and inspection efforts.
- Assist with geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines.
- Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Occasionally travel within Alaska for site visits and progress inspections.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Alaska P.E. license, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Some geotechnical coursework and experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD and/or Civil3D; and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills.
- Experience and desire to mentor junior engineers and work in team environments.
- Valid U.S. drivers license with a good driving record.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship.
