Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PCB Assembly Technician specializing in soldering to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. You will be responsible for the assembly and soldering of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) to industry standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties
- Perform hand soldering and rework on PCBA components per IPC/J-STD standards
- Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and workmanship
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
- Identify and report defects or process issues to leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other precision instruments to accurately position components on circuit boards.
- Solder components onto PCBs with a focus on quality, consistency, and adherence to safety protocols.
Experience
- 2 Years Experience in PCBA Soldering (through-hole and/or SMT)
- Strong knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- J-STD-001 certification preferred (current or past)
- Familiarity with IPC standards and ESD handling procedures
- Detail-oriented with strong quality awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
