Security Office

Full-time opening available

Purpose: The Security Officer will participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Primary Duties:

• Answer main phone lines and direct calls to appropriate departments
• Monitor radio traffic and surveillance equipment
• Implement applicable emergency policies and programs
• Monitor and regulate inbound and outbound pedestrian and truck traffic
• Conduct regular inspection rounds in accordance with company policies
• Handle outbound express mail and distribute internal mail as needed
• Open and close confined space entry permits
• Maintain accurate departmental written records and reports
• Any other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:

Team members must possess good communication and computer skills in order to:

• Process pick ups and deliveries within the facility.
• Monitor/control access in and out of the facility with a variety of systems.
• Assist with emergencies.
• Conduct rounds, answer phones, and communicate with a variety of departments and personnel on a daily basis.
• Complete necessary documentation/reporting on a daily basis.

Schedule/Pay:

• 1 full-time opening for 2nd shift
• Pay starts at $16/hour

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; as well as 1 year of security-related experience and/or training
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
