Our work strengthens the communities we serve, and we are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to join our Petoskey team. This person will take initiative in developing new business, expanding market presence, and serving as a trusted representative of PMP.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development across Northern Michigan
  • Build strong community and client relationships through networking, events, and outreach
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding hiring needs and workforce challenges
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored staffing and recruitment solutions
  • Expand services within existing accounts through additional hiring options and offerings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Track KPIs and provide insight using analytics and reporting tools
  • Represent PMP Personnel Services at community, industry, and chamber events to strengthen brand presence


Qualifications:

  • Proven B2B sales or service-based sales experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and proactive in a field-based role
  • Tech-savvy with CRM and analytics tool experience
  • Comfortable attending occasional after-hours networking events
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a values-driven environment
