Material Handler
Location: Robstown, TX, 78380

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Hye, Texas. Material Handler responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and loading orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials
- Move materials to designated storage areas
- Prepare materials for shipment
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years or older due to insurability requirements for equipment use
- Proven working experience in material handling
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in Texas weather ie heat, cold, dust rain
- Ability to work overtime and some Saturdays
