We are currently sourcing for a "Senior Data Engineer (Oracle Apps)" to work in our client's location in Durham, North Carolina.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Database Administration.
- MUST HAVE Oracle Application DBA experience.
- Strong expertise with Oracle Database Administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity.
- Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle databases supporting critical applications
- Experience building and supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
- Strong experience with Informatica ETL Development.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Server reporting environments.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Cloud Platforms.
- Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, CI/CD, and Data Automation.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
