PMCO is hiring a Project Manager from the Civil Construction industry in Brownsville, TX!
Salary: $125k to $145k

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale heavy civil and horizontal construction projects from startup through closeout.
- Oversee daily project performance including schedule, cost controls, subcontractor management, and site execution.
- Direct a cross-functional project team and coordinate with Safety, Quality, and Cost Control groups.
- Maintain full accountability for project documentation including RFIs, submittals, correspondence logs, and contract compliance.
- Manage project buyout, procurement, long-lead items, and subcontractor performance to meet contractual and schedule requirements.
- Conduct weekly cost reviews, track budget variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate proactively with the owner, agencies, and stakeholders regarding project status and required formal communications.
- Ensure all safety requirements, OSHA standards, AHAs, and daily toolbox talks are enforced across the project.
- Identify, track, and obtain approvals for extra work or non-contract items.
- Lead weekly internal meetings, owner progress meetings, and monthly executive reviews covering schedule, cost, and key risks.
- Prepare, submit, and track monthly billings and pay applications to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor field operations, environmental compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to project specifications.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (P.E. or advanced degree preferred but not required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 15 years of experience managing heavy civil infrastructure projects valued at $50M or more.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills across field and office settings.
- Proficient with MS Office, Primavera P6, and construction management platforms.
- Experience with Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, Viewpoint, and Procore preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Ability to travel or reside in the RGV region as project demands require.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
