Experienced Medical Biller – Part-Time (In-Office Only)

We are a growing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This is an in-office, part-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Our company provides medical billing services for multiple specialties, so candidates must have strong knowledge of the complete revenue cycle and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the medical billing and revenue cycle process.
- Submit clean claims electronically and resolve claim rejections.
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.
- Process appeals and work accounts receivable to maximize collections.
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits when needed.
- Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations.
- Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, providers, and patients as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience required.
- Experience billing for multiple medical specialties is strongly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality work.
