PHP Developer
We''re looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team and take ownership of current and upcoming web projects. In this role, you''ll build and maintain high-quality web applications, collaborate across departments, and help deliver seamless user experiences.
What You''ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using PHP
- Write clean, scalable back-end code and build efficient PHP modules
- Manage and optimize database systems with a focus on data integrity and security
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver updates
- Support deployment and ongoing maintenance across various platforms
- Keep pace with evolving industry trends, technologies, and best practices
What We''re Looking For
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3 years of PHP development experience
- 3 years of JavaScript experience
- 1 year of WordPress experience (themes, widgets, and plugins)
- Strong command of object-oriented PHP programming
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
- Solid understanding of MySQL/SQL database management
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Working knowledge of Apache and IIS service administration
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
- Must be able to report to the assigned office location on scheduled in-office workdays
