REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 3 year’s of experience with set up and processing of injection mold presses
- Good communication skills –written & oral
- Must be able to safely work around molding machines
- Must be able to work independently
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read, write & speak English
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to debug & analyze auxiliary equipment and automation equipment.
- Debug/correct material, mold, process, press, automation, and auxiliary equipment problems
- Effectively adjust molding processes ensuring all documentation and ISO procedures are strictly adhered to.
- Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Performs necessary preventative maintenance on molds & machines
- Start-up molds and set in process parameters
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to hear machine alarms
- Good mobility, energy level & ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
- Requires good visual acuity and the ability to detect visual changes in plastic
- Must be willing and able to operate a forklift
- Able to climb ladders up to 6 feet
- Physical strength to perform ratcheting motion to torque settings
- Good mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting, & crawling to access machine areas
