What You’ll Do:
- Ensure every guest is greeted, following welcome and farewell protocol
- Review Guest Planning Screen and assist in preparing welcome amenities, making appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs
- Register and book guests, verifying reservation, address, email address and payment information
- Promptly answer calls using positive and clear communication
- Promote the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program with knowledge of member benefits, recognition of current members and enrolling non-members
- Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record forms of payment. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
- Issue luggage claims and store/retrieve luggage as requested. Issue mail, small packages and facsimiles for guests, as requested
- Close guest accounts at time of check-out and ascertain satisfaction. In the event of dissatisfaction, negotiate service recovery
- Respectfully listen and respond to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions
- Take pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel assuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times, communicating larger issues to Re:fresh and Re:pair departments for immediate attention
- Comply with attendance policies and must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings and weekends
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Talent (AM, Mid and PM shifts availability) to join our team. As a Front Desk Talent, you'll be responsible for check-in, check-out, kiosk operations, and all other guest transactions that strive to exceed established standards and take pride in the overall look and feel of our brand. You will need to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times, fulfilling requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner.
