Key Responsibilities
Project & Portfolio Support
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordination activities across early-stage R&D initiatives.
- Maintain project timelines, dependencies, action logs, and deliverables to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.
- Assist in resource planning and capacity assessments across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Drive PMO governance activities including documentation control, meeting cadence, and project reporting.
- Develop and maintain value-measurement models, cost/benefit analyses, and project estimation tools.
- Create prioritization frameworks to inform strategic decision-making and portfolio optimization.
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to support transparent project tracking.
- Work closely with Automation, IT, Digital, Engineering, and scientific stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure project alignment.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes, track actions, and deliver concise status updates for leadership.
- Support risk identification and mitigation processes across active projects.
- Lead and support process-improvement initiatives focused on enhancing R&D and laboratory workflows.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture within the client’s PMO and scientific teams.
- 5 years of experience in project management, PMO support, or Associate PM roles (pharma/biotech preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in value measurement, ROI modeling, estimation, and metric creation.
- Experience supporting R&D or laboratory environments; manufacturing/production background not required.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and PMO best practices.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interact effectively with technical and scientific stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment.
