Duties
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure safe handling of goods.
- Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas accurately while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and update stock records precisely.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging products for delivery or transfer.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and restocking as needed to maximize sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and sales floor by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring safety standards are met.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock control and record keeping.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely repeatedly throughout the shift; physical stamina is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving produce, packaging, or merchandising is beneficial.
