Level 1: $16.11 (minimum) - $20.14 (midpoint) - $24.17 (maximum)
Level 2: $17.38 (minimum) - $21.73 (midpoint) - $26.08 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you have a keen eye for detail and have a proven record of being accurate with tracking, counting and maintaining inventory, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring for a 1st shift Stockhandler to join our team at the Loves Park Campus. Individuals with experience in inventory or stockroom control are highly encouraged to apply! Hours for this position are M-F 6:30am-3:00pm
- Effectively using the ERP system to perform various computer transactions to locate, move and adjust inventory.
- Interacting with team members and internal customers regularly throughout the day.
- Continuously communicating and comprehending verbal and written correspondence (email) to assist internal customers.
- Standing, physically moving, lifting or carrying materials, pushing carts, racks, or cages to transport materials from one area of the facility to another.
- Working with numbers to perform verification and matching of critical data.
- Continually counting parts, cycle counting and repeatedly performing addition, subtraction and division calculations.
- Using reasoning and historical data to trouble shoot inventory inconsistencies.
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type.
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
- Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
- May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
- Previous stockroom or inventory experience is preferred
- Experience in handling inventory in a warehouse environment is desired
- Solid computer, reading, writing and math skills are requested
- Ability and willingness to work in a team atmosphere and adhere to safety policies and procedures
Level 1:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 1 or more years of experience in an inventory, stockroom or related experience type of role
