Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Project Superintendent with mandatory healthcare construction experience and the ability to work night shifts when required. This role is critical to overseeing day-to-day operations of healthcare-related construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of healthcare construction projects, including night work
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and industry safety standards
- Supervise subcontractors and maintain organized, safe job sites
- Communicate project progress with clients and internal teams
- Conduct pre-bid walkthroughs, assist with takeoffs, proposals, and estimates
- Interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents; develop and manage schedules
- Prepare RFIs, Change Estimates, Submittals, and maintain daily logs and reports
- Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and ensure proper coverage
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in commercial construction
- Proven experience in healthcare construction environments (Required)
- Availability and willingness to work night shifts (Required)
- Hands-on trade experience and ability to lead by example
- Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality control standards
- Budgeting and cost management skills; ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, MS Projects, Internet, Sage
- Ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings
- Relevant certifications or degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Licenses/Certifications
- ASHE Certification a
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 (Required)
