Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs across a variety of commercial properties, Hospitals & Medical Centers
- Ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality
- Work on various aspects of construction/building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
Position Requirements:
- 3 years of construction/building maintenance experience
- Eagerness to learn and grow within our firm
- Must be motivated, a self-starter, reliable, professional, and results/detail-oriented
- Excellent follow-up and organization skills
- Computer savvy with the ability to use digital tools and systems
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently, and follow directions as needed
- Strong procedural and proactive approach to tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Must adhere to company procedures
- Clean driving record (company van provided)
- Travel required to multiple work sites across the 5 boroughs
- Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and gripping with or without assistance
- Must be able to lift, carry (up to 50lbs), crawl, and climb ladders
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building maintenance
- OSHA 10-Hour certificate required
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety procedures
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Experience with basic repairs, replacements, and new installations
