Lead, Prod Line (Operator)

The position of Production Line Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting production assembly lines; assist team(s) to complete orders, and prepare reports, and making sure production objectives are attained. Will perform in various roles to assist efficient production including reworks and helping on the line.

Key Responsibilities include:

Pay Rate $21.00- Monday - Thursday 10 Hour days

• Required to be in 15 minutes early to setup the line for production
• Carry out production based on daily schedule or specific duties given by management
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times / Follow GMP guidelines
• Inspect all goods for quality and defects; notify QC and/or management with deviations
• Setup machinery and ensure all materials are QC approved and readily available
• Follow and enforce all SOP’s & Work Instructions for filling, sanitation and operations
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out adequately and legible
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Responsible for “on the job training” to general laborers on “Special Instructions” for individual job orders
• Notify management of any noticeable safety or maintenance issues immediately
• Reports to Production Shift Manager and Production Manager
• Hour by Hour and Vorne Boards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of Line Lead experience
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English; verbal and written form.
• Must possess organizational and leadership skills
• Must be team oriented and self-directed
• Must be effective as an employee motivator
• Must be familiar with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Must be able to lift a maximum up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be committed to quality, safety and communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.
• Must poses strong production line analysis
• Must be able to work overtime and some weekends
• Bilingual English / Spanish highly preferred not mandatory
