Shift: Varied
Duties/Responsibilities
- Stock service station, completely and correctly, prior to meal service.
- Set or reset each table properly, as shown on the table setting layout.
- Greet residents and guests cordially and take their order within a timely manner, being sensitive to the wishes of the resident.
- Review menu with residents and present any special items of the day.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to place all drink/food orders and track resident meals.
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen; serve complete meal to all residents and guests in a timely fashion.
- Perform side work correctly as assigned according to the side work procedure guidelines and to the level required on the sanitation checklist.
- Maintain friendly, professional relations with residents and guests at all times.
- Assist bussers in clearing dirty dishes from all tables in a timely manner, as needed.
- Assist other servers with the needs of their tables.
- Immediately report any accidents and or incidents to the Dining Manager or Operations Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant environment preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age to legally sell and/or serve alcohol in a restaurant within the State of Florida.

As required by Florida law (House Bill 531), candidates must complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as a condition of employment.
