Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a liaison between patient/family/provider
- Assist patients with the check-out process
- Create a positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service
- Manage a physician’s clinic and surgical schedule
- Maintain patient medical records utilizing EHR
- Perform outreach calls to patients, physicians and nursing facilities
- Proactively assist with general office tasks when necessary to help with daily operations.
Key Competencies
- Strong interpersonal, written and phone communication skills
- Demonstrates a high degree of tact, judgement and courtesy when dealing with patients and staff
- Organized with time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Reliable and punctual
- Work autonomously with attention to detail
- Comply with HIPAA guidelines
- Strong knowledge of EHR
