Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct routine route driving to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, maintaining accurate delivery
• Engage with customers professionally to provide excellent service, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling techniques
• Deliver products effectively at customer locations, ensuring proper placement and presentation to maximize safety and customer satisfaction
• Perform heavy lifting of products and supplies as needed, demonstrating physical strength and endurance
• Manage pricing and inventory, communicate any discrepancies or issues promptly to District Managers, and manage contract renewals
• Maintain organized records of deliveries, transactions, and route activities for reporting purposes

Skills

• Strong driving skills with experience in commercial vehicle operation and route driving
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Basic math abilities for handling pricing, inventory counts, and sales transactions accurately
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to upsell products effectively by understanding customer needs and product features
• Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep detailed records
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation at customer sites
• Heavy lifting capability for handling products safely during deliveries
• Familiarity with military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline, adaptability, and teamwork
