As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. What you’ll do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, and airway management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Participate in triage, critical care transport, and emergency response situations as needed.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies while ensuring patient safety.
Basic qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in an ICU or Level I/II trauma center setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and NCQA standards.
- Background in acute pain management, emergency medicine, or trauma medicine.
