- Post-operative open heart care experience - [REQUIRED]
- Critical Care Experience - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- Chest tube and other drain management Experience - Required
- Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access - Required
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including: reading and interpreting cardiac rhythym strips, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms - Required
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities - Required
- Experience with the following procedures and equipment (assisting with chest tube removal, assisting with removal of pericardial pacing wires, management of temporary pacers, including pericardial and transcutaneous devices, use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systems - Required
- Must float to all units within skill level- Required
