JOB OVERVIEW – Front Desk Receptionist
Plush Rose Blowout Bar is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to support our team at Ft. Leonard Wood. This role is essential to creating a warm, seamless guest experience while maintaining an efficient, organized salon environment.
This is a part-time position (approximately 15 hours per week) during our operating hours. Ideal candidates are polished, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured, team-based setting.
Training begins: February 1, 2026
Grand Opening: February 4, 2026
Salon Operating Hours (Required Availability)
Wednesday – Saturday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
This role will be scheduled within these hours.
Please note: Hours may increase as client volume grows. As we establish a steady flow of appointments during the first few months, additional hours may become available based on salon demand.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and create a welcoming experience
- Answer phones using our professional script and salon standards
- Book, confirm, and adjust appointments through our scheduling system
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Process payments, receipts, and product purchases
- Assist with retail recommendations (simple guidance only)
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area
Administrative Support
- Review upcoming appointments and ensure accuracy
- Send reminders, confirmations, and follow-up messages
- Manage daily appointment flow and support smooth transitions
- Keep track of guest notes, preferences, and service history
- Uphold all internal procedures, privacy standards, and base requirements
Team Support
- Communicate clearly with stylists and nail techs regarding client changes or needs
- Assist with salon opening and closing tasks when needed
- Support simple daily operational tasks such as:
- Light cleaning
- Towel folding
- shampooing if needed
- Stocking small supplies
- Participate in short daily team huddles

Base Access Requirements
- Must pass a clean background check (required for military base access)
- Must present a professional appearance and follow our dress code
- Must be comfortable interacting with military families and diverse clientele
Attendance & Reliability
- Consistent attendance is essential
- Frequent call-outs or tardiness are not compatible with this role
- Must be available during salon operating hours
