What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Budtender (FT) position at Plus Dispensary?
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals interested in budtending at our shop! Cannabis industry experience is a plus. We are looking for individuals with a desire to learn and grow. Propspective employees must have familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems or the ability to quickly learn. Applicants must be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
Reliability and attendance is imperative.
- Pay is per their experience Plus TIPS.
Skills & Qualifications:
⦁ Must be at least 21 years of age or older to work in the Oregon Cannabis industry
⦁ Applicants must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (*required to pass OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit Test and submit application prior to being hired)
⦁ Flexible schedule - available days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
⦁ Experience in Cannabis retail sales and customer service required
⦁ Reliable transportation is required
⦁ Physical Requirements: Standing, Walking, Lifting 25 lbs
⦁ Industry/dispensary sales experience is a plus
⦁ Working knowledge of cannabis strains and product types
⦁ Must be Friendly, Outgoing, Trustworthy, Dependable, and Hardworking
⦁ Must be able to provide exemplary customer service, represent the business with pride and get the customer exactly what they want by educating them on products and current specials
Duties/Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
⦁ Serving customers through front window
⦁ Greeting, establishing good rapport with customers, and guiding them in finding products that meet their needs
⦁ Must have excellent attendance and professionalism- Must be detail oriented and able to handle cash, and operate a POS register
⦁ Cash handling / till counting - ringing up sales correctly in Point of Sale system
⦁ Assembling and labeling prerolls
⦁ Weighing out and assembling product accurately for deli-style flower service
⦁ Adhering to strict dispensary and OLCC compliance requirements to maintain a professional and safe environment for customers and co-workers
⦁ Participating in daily store clean-up and sanitation protocols
⦁ Assigned product replenishment / related tasks from management
⦁ OLCC compliance
