Responsibilities
- Handle employment investigations, charges, and lawsuits from inception through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions.
- Conduct depositions and discovery.
- Participate in mediations, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
- Lead trial preparation and implement strategy.
- Advise employers on labor and employment law issues
Qualifications
- 5-7- years of Labor & Employment law experience; including investigations of claims.
- Experience drafting EEOC charge responses and TWC investigation responses.
- Strong motion drafting and trial experience.
- First chair responsibility for depositions, discovery, and litigation strategy.
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
- Client development and management skills.
