Plummer is looking for a seasoned Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Treatment Team in Denver, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to design and manage all aspects of a project including planning evaluation, technical process mechanical design, and construction administration. The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will be responsible for managing small to midsize design tasks, engineering drawings, calculations, and P&IDs with the support of junior staff. The Engineer will also be responsible for schedule and financial management of projects and will also establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.

The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will be responsible for managing small to midsize design tasks, engineering drawings, calculations, and P&IDs with the support of junior staff. The Engineer will also be responsible for schedule and financial management of projects and will also establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
Our Ideal Teammate
- Our ideal teammate will have at least 10 years of professional experience.
- At least 4 years of this experience must be as a licensed PE working on water, and/or wastewater treatment-type work such as treatment plant expansion, rehab, and planning.
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- This position may require up to 10% travel to clients within Colorado.
- Our ideal teammate will have a firm understanding of the engineering fundamentals as they relate to hydraulics and pump stations, wastewater design aspects such as preliminary and primary treatment, biological nutrient removal (BNR), solids treatment and odor control, the associated regulatory requirements, hydraulics and pump stations, water treatment design aspects such as flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection; PFAS treatment and water reuse.
- We are seeking a strong communicator with leadership skills and the ability to collaboratively plan, problem-solve, and follow-through on projects.
