PURCHASER / WAREHOUSE

Plumbing, Cooling & Electrical Nerds is a fast-paced, growing company operating in the trades. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services and materials to our customers. We're currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our warehouse team and help ensure smooth and efficient procurement and inventory processes.

Daily Responsibilities

• Source, order, and purchase materials, tools, and supplies required for warehouse and jobsite operations
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and confirm delivery timelines
• Coordinate with managers and warehouse staff to anticipate and meet material needs
• Track shipments and handle issues related to delayed or incorrect deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to optimize cost and delivery schedules
• Work in warehouse organization, receiving, and stock management
  
  

NON-NEGOTIABLES

• Previous purchasing experience in a trades, construction, or warehouse environment (preferred)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of materials, tools, and supplies used in trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, etc.)
• Proficient with MS Office and Service Titan
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license (required)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking and standing for lengthy periods of time.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces and reaching/grasping.
• Equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
