DRYWALL FINISHER

Plumbing, Cooling & Electrical Nerds is seeking a detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team.

As a Drywall Finisher, your duties will include sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment.

To be successful as a drywall finisher, you should be able to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work; safely use tools, supplies, parts etc.

An eye for detail, and “not happy until the job is right" attitude!

Daily Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Build out and repair drywall and small remodel jobs.
• Sealing joints between plaster boards or other wallboards.
• Applying paper over joints.
• Filling cracks or holes, sanding rough spots.
• Be SUPERHUMAN & HELP PEOPLE.

• Must have a clean, safe driving record. Does not have to be perfect but close.

• Must have a positive attitude and a true interest to personally improve.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• The position requires a considerable amount of physical activity including walking and standing for lengthy periods of time.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, crawling in tight spaces and reaching/grasping.
• Equal amount of time spent indoors and outdoors with exposure to hot or cold temperatures for one or more hours.
• A PLUS IF YOU ARE - Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
  
  
  

Skills / Knowledge

• Experience in proper operation of a variety of power hand tools.
• Following safety protocols.
• Attention to detail and a desire for quality work.
  
  
  

Requirements / Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
