Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential construction sites using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs.
- Perform pipe threading, fitting, soldering, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure secure connections and compliance with building codes.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems during various project phases, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures, installing new piping, and ensuring seamless integration with existing structures.
- Support other construction activities such as carpentry or HVAC installations when needed to facilitate project completion.
- Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper ergonomics; adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times on construction sites.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques and installation procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with remodeling processes, carpentry basics, and maintenance person tasks for versatile project support.
- Valid driver’s license for site transportation needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.66 per hour
