We're hiring a Projects Plumber to independently run install-focused work — water line and sewer line installs, repipes, remodels, and some new construction — from excavation/rough-in through final inspection, with light oversight from the Projects Team Lead. This is a strong-fit role if you're ready to work with minimal supervision and want a clear path toward leading your own crew.
What you'll do:
- Independently perform water line and sewer line installs/replacements, repipes, remodels, and some new construction
- Tow and maneuver equipment trailers to and from jobsites
- Operate a mini excavator for utility trenching and site excavation
- Perform work per approved plans, specs, applicable codes, and company standards
- Coordinate directly with builders, inspectors, and vendors
- Prepare work areas for inspections and correct any findings
- Mentor Apprentice Projects Plumbers assigned to support jobs
- Keep job records (progress, labor, milestones) current in HouseCall Pro
- Flag jobsite issues or delays to the Projects Team Lead
What you bring:
- 3–5 years of hands-on plumbing experience with water line, sewer line, repipe, or remodel install work
- Demonstrated ability to tow a trailer and operate a mini excavator independently
- Working knowledge of applicable state plumbing codes
- Comfortable working with minimal direct supervision
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Comfortable in trenches, crawl spaces, and active jobsites in all weather
- NC plumbing license a plus, not required
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
