-Instruct a program planned to meet the needs of students based upon their IEP within a self-contained Special Education classroom. Revise, organize, and adapt instructional materials from the adopted PESD core and intervention curricula. Prepare and provide supplementary materials when needed. Select appropriate instructional methods to address the learning needs of students. Plan curriculum and and instruct using District and California State curriculum Standards as a guide. Effectively apply proven teaching procedures/strategies to accomplish educational goals.
-Complete appropriate educational assessments, hold parent conferences, attend IEP meetings, prepare progress reports and act as case-carrier for student Annual Review/updates and Triennial evaluations.
