Nature and Scope
Under the guidance and supervision of the Rehab Manager, the Occupational Therapist will have a great deal of flexibility in applying individual professional judgment, discretion, and skill in patient management and program development. The Occupational Therapist will review physician’s referrals for Occupational Therapy services and utilize information obtained from patient's records relative to their medical history, social emotional disorders, and prognosis in order to select appropriate evaluation procedures for identifying patient's functional abilities/disabilities.
Location
- We are located 2077 E. Main Street Quincy, CA 95971 and 127 Crescent St C, Greenville, CA 95947.
- You may be asked to travel between both offices.
Compensation
Compensation Philosophy:
- We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience
Compensation Range:
- $64.36 - $91.76 / hour

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education institution.
- Current California Occupational Therapist License.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA.
Preferred Experience:
- Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Compassionate and attentive to detail.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
- Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.
- Ability to use a computer and software proficiently.
- Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.
- Completion of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited residency program.
Responsibilities
- Provision of assessment and evidence-based treatments.
- Skill in the wide range of basic evaluation instruments.
- Ability to modify and/or adapt treatment techniques to improve outcomes.
- Participation in PI/QA programs.
- Participation in departmental meetings.
