Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repair
- Manage construction activities such as site preparation, grading, planting beds, and hardscape installations
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work atmosphere
- Conduct quality inspections to guarantee the durability and aesthetic appeal of completed projects
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including gardening, tree care, irrigation systems, and general horticulture principles
- Hands-on experience with construction activities related to outdoor projects
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and motivate staff
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in outdoor work environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as needed
- Must have a valid drivers license and experience driving with a trailer.
