What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Mechanical Millwrights and Conveyor Installers position at PLS Pros?
PLS Pros is seeking experienced Millwrights and Conveyor Installers for multiple projects across the country. We offer competitive hourly pay, daily per diem, paid project travel, and opportunities to roll over to additional projects nationwide.
JOB DETAILS
Pay: $22–$34 per hour, depending on experience
Per Diem: $135–$185 per day, depending on project location
Work Schedule: Approximately 60 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Project Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks per location, with opportunities to roll over to additional projects
Travel: Mileage and project travel paid
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
Conveyor Installers
Responsible for laying out, installing, servicing, and repairing conveyor systems and material-handling equipment in large-scale distribution centers and warehouses.
Minimum of 6 months of conveyor installation experience is required.
Millwrights
Perform heavy industrial millwright work, including shutdowns and equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs in agricultural facilities, mines, and outdoor industrial plants.
Additional Material-Handling Opportunities
PLS Pros also works on a variety of material-handling projects, including:
Chute installation
Conveyor retrofits
Spiral conveyor systems
Mezzanine structures
Industrial racking systems
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must possess and be proficient with hand tools.
Must be willing to obtain certifications for aerial lifts/scissor lifts and forklifts.
OSHA 10 Construction certification or higher is required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
