ANALYST
Job Summary
Tax and accounting firm immediately looking to hire an entry-level Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of tax, bookkeeping and/or accounting experience. If you are a recent graduate with an eye for detail, a head for math, and a team-focused attitude, you could be an ideal match for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work closely and diligently with the firm’s tax and accounting professionals to complete projects as needed including but not limited to tax preparation and bookkeeping.
2. Review, verify and accurately input all source data such as payroll, income and disbursements.
3. Conduct bank reconciliations and balance financial records.
4. Maintain ledger; record and document financial transactions.
5. Research and analyze data.
6. Input client tax preparation source information using the firm’s tax software.
Requirements and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business, finance, math, or a related field.
2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
3. Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to company’s work and clients.
4. Perform accurate work to the highest standards.
5. Complete assigned work to deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
6. Excellent verbal and communication skills.
7. Driven, self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Other Information
Hourly. Part-Time or Full-Time.
Compensation depending on experience.
In-Person, on-site (Not remote or hybrid).
Parking provided.
Background check required.
