Branch Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our landscaping branch. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multi-million-dollar branch operations, ensuring strong financial performance, team development, and exceptional client satisfaction. This is a key leadership role requiring operational, financial, and team management expertise within a fast-paced service environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage overall branch operations, including labor planning, customer relations, and profitability
- Lead and coach team members including Account Managers, Supervisor, and crews
- Monitor budgets, job costing, and key performance indicators to meet revenue and margin goals
- Coordinate with sales team to support enhancement sales and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain service quality and customer retention through consistent communication and follow-up
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all company and industry safety standards
- Represent the branch in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance or a related service industry
- 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to manage large-scale operations, including financial oversight and team performance
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or related field – or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Conversational Spanish
- Proficiency in CRM systems
- Strong communication, coaching, and analytical skills
Technical and Physical Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable working in office and outdoor environments in various weather conditions
- Ability to walk, kneel, crouch, and move around job sites as needed
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) certification within 3 years (company support provided)
