Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to ensure our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform window cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and chemical sprayers safely and effectively.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct janitorial duties in public areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces with attention to infection control protocols.
- Assist with custodial tasks like heavy lifting of supplies or furniture, manual handling of cleaning tools, and routine maintenance checks.
- Support the team with window cleaning, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and other specialized cleaning tasks as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health regulations and safety guidelines to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience in commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and infection control procedures.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while following proper chemical handling protocols.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
