- Economic Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of the local economy and disaster-related economic impacts, identifying key challenges and opportunities for recovery.
- Strategic Planning: Develop a detailed economic recovery strategic plan in collaboration with project leadership and community stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Analyze economic data, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and develop financial strategies to support economic recovery and resilience.
- Stakeholder Engagement: In collaboration with project leadership and team members, engage with local businesses, community organizations, and government agencies to gather input and ensure the strategic plan aligns with community needs.
- Technical Assistance: Provide expert guidance and technical assistance to stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation of the recovery plan.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of the economic recovery initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, and other relevant tools to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in economic analysis, strategic planning, and economic recovery efforts.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing economic recovery plans, working with disaster-impacted communities, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and economic modeling software.
