Internship Position Purpose
As an AI Application Development Intern, you will assist in the development, release, and maintenance of software applications in accordance with business needs, establishing the strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for the organizations software development program using AI-powered features. This role offers hand-on experience with modern AI frameworks.
Core Duties & Supporting Skills Development
Duties:
- Assist in designing and developing AI-driven applications and features.
- Integrate machine learning models or AI APIs into existing products.
- Collaborate with engineers to prototype and test AI functionality in software environments.
- Support debugging, performance optimization, and documentation of AI-enabled components.
- Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and application development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about practical AI implementation.
Physical Activities and Requirements of this Internship Position
- Ability to access input and retrieves information from a computer to produce typed copy
- Capacity to communicate adequately, in person or via telephone, in a manner, which can be understood by those with whom the Client Support Specialist is speaking
- Capability of dialing or otherwise using a telephone to place and receive telephone calls
- Willingness and capacity to sit or stand for minimum periods of one hour at a time
- Capacity to pick up, leaf through and read books and files and other materials
- Ability to reach forward, up, down and to the side in order to move equipment up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with competing deadlines and changing priorities

This is a paid internship at $16.00/hr.
