What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney (Contract) position at Pless Law Firm?
Pless Law Firm is looking to add an experienced litigator to our team on a part-time or contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate, corporate, and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and, where applicable, trials.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage case timelines, ensure compliance with procedural rules, and coordinate with co-counsel.
Requirements::
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Colorado, California (preferred) and Texas (preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, with demonstrated expertise in real estate, corporate, and business disputes.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research abilities.

Salary Range (for Colorado positions only):
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Pless Law Firm is committed to providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $250 - $550 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
