What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Maker position at Please Come Again Ice Cream?
SUMMARY
*Attention Pastry Chefs, Bakers, Food Prep, anyone who loves to make ice cream*
We're looking for a Ice Cream Maker at Please Come Again in Kailua – an artisanal ice cream shop that serves Hawaii-made ice cream with local ingredients.
You will make a lot of ice cream! And also stuff that goes into ice cream (caramel, honeycomb candy, baked goods, etc).
This is mainly a back of house/kitchen job - shifts are 3-4x a week, ideally 6AM-10AM Monday-Thursday or 6AM-12PM Fri-Sun (you can choose the days).
Bonus points if you can operate as a scooptender as well -someone who loves to talk story and share their intimate knowledge of our product with the community, taking them through tasting tours and giving them the full PCA experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- *** Must have prior experience in food service establishment***
- MUST be able to make caramel - please let us know youʻve made it before in the message to us
- Must have your Food Handler Certificate (or be willing to take the class to obtain one)
- Commitment to perfect attendance
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the store.
- Continuous cleaning, dishwashing, sanitizing, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and bathroom cleaning are part of every shift
- Able to complete physical tasks involving moving large containers of ice cream and stocking shelves (lift 50 lbs)
- Must be hardworking, humble, and lead with positivity
SHIFTS
Make your own schedule! We will work with you to craft hours that work for you. Ideal shifts are outside operating hours - anytime that is not 1pm-9pm.
